more steampunk!

Hi Lovlies, I'm blogging now as I'm out tonight, girlie night in with take away and chinwag!
Today's make is one for the guys, hope you like? Would love your comments!
6x6 craft card, I embossed white card with cogs mask, colour tinted it with vintage photo DI then very quickly dusted bronze mica powder over and sealed with cheap hairspray, I painstakingly cut out the centre to create an apature, I mounted it with mounting foam for dimention, the background I stamped and masked cogs etc creating a collage effect with walnut stain DI directly onto base card, before mounting the apature of course, the train and sentiment are from Creative Ex travel set of stamps as are the cogs and screws etc, the tickets are CE but a different set which were also stamped with walnut stain inked and scrumpled up I edged each topper with black soot DI added a screw top brad, couple of Tim Holtz cogs and voila, thank you for taking the time to stop by xxx

Great idea (and lots of patience) using your emb folder like that. Love the collaging of the images inside the aperture too.
