Butterfly tag!

Good evening lovelies! Well tonight I won the daily challenge on Craftymess, the theme was butterfly! That means I get to choose the theme for tomorrow and be the judge! I've chosen silhouette as my theme for tomorrow! So onto my make!
I made a tag out of white linen card, smeared Hansa yellow, orange and permanent red pan pastels randomly over it and sealed with cheap hairspray, I then stamped with black, a Marion Emberson stamp and a Kanban stamp the weeny butterflies are from the Marion Emberson set, I highlighted with a white gel pen and added some glitter here and there! The butterfly is a Marianne design die, which I cut twice and stuck together, added some pearls for the body! Voila, very simple very quick, took all of 10 mins! Thank you for visiting, I appreciate the time you take to leave lovely comments xxx

Oh my word Zoe - I missed this yesterday - it is absolutely gorgeous. I don't have any of the pastels (yet, she says) because I thought they were too expensive and there are soooo many of them. I really do NEED them now that I have seen what you have done with your tag. This really is beautiful. The highlighting is also inspiring - I must have a go at doing some highlighting myself.

Bigs hugs to you Sue P xx

Thank you Susie, they really are fab to use, so vibrant, you do need to seal them after, but just use cheap hairspray, oyster stamps are doing a good deal at mo 5 for £20 but their colour chart is rubbish so look the colours up you want first before ordering from them, the colours blend well too so you can mix your own colours which will cut down a bit on cost xxx hope this is helpful xxx
