Vintage christmas!

Good evening Lovelies! Boy the year is going fast! Dark at 8.45 :(
Well today my new stamps from http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/ came, and I simply had to play! Like ya do!
So here's what I made! Hope you like them?
My first card is, yes you guessed it! 8x8 cream card, I mat and layered with paper from stash, added some gorgeous green and cream grosgrain ribbon, with hat pins and button, the topper I cut cream card with a nestie, I stamped the harlequin background stamp with galaxy gold brilliance ink then inked over with bundled sage DI I wanted a subtle background, then I stamped Christmas eve poem with vintage sepia versafine ink then stamped with aged mahogany DI the large snowflake!

My second card I used 6x6 craft card which I masked all round the edges, with a script wooden stamp from stash I stamped a background with aged mahogany DI, once dry I stamped over the top using the Harlequin background stamp with Galaxy gold brilliance  ink, then stamped the grunge flourish in aged mahogany in two corners, added some burgundy and cream grosgrain ribbon, the topper I used Indigoblu flitter glue to stamp Vintage Santa and gilding flakes which are golds and reds, cut using nestie inked edges with aged mahogany, added a button threaded with raffia and voila! Thank you for visiting xxx

I love the dark nights getting earlier....but not as much as I love these two cards! The first one my favourite as I love the soft backing papers to allow the poem to stand out. I adore the back and white stripped ribbon.
The second one is also gorgeous and I love that Santa stamp :-)
Hugs Lisa xxxx
