Tags for a swap

Well it's been a while since I've blogged! Been having a tough time! My little foster girl moved last Thursday to her new forever family! We've had her 22 months so it's been really hard letting go! Don't get me wrong it's wonderful for her and she has now got a wonderful new Mummy and Daddy, but we love her so much and have been through a lot with her, so we are grieving our loss! I've not been able to craft for over a week, I've just not felt up to it! In fact I didn't get dressed for 3 days, but each day I have cried a little less! It takes time, I learned that from the last one, you never get over it but in time you move on and remember the good memories! I can't wait for that to happen this time, I can tell you it's felt like the end of the world, the pain is so real! :( "But" I have actually been out in my craft room and made some tags for a swap with a group I belong to, thank you for visiting my blog and reading my story, hope it hasn't depressed you too much?

I'm entering this into: http://www.dccfriendschallenges.net/2013/01/button-up.html?m=0

Oh Zoe, having just started Fostering I certainly can only imagine what you have been going through, the experience is definitely a roller-coaster ride when it comes to your emotions.
Your tags are stunning! The detail, dimension and mix of colors on each one is all fabulous. I definitely couldn't choose a favorite here! . Take care, I will be sending cyber hugs your way hoping that the pain eases and you are feeling better in yourself soon! xx

Hey Zoe, reading your post made me feel for you. I can imagine that after 22 months it would very hard to let someone go. It is a form of mourning and I`m glad to hear that you are taking the time to feel your way through it. I`m sending all my best wishes your way. You still managed to create three beautiful tags! I love all of the patterns that you`ve put together so artfully. Beautiful work Zoe!

My dear friend, what a wonderful person you are to give a little girl, so much love and allow her to have a long term family, if there were more people in the world like you, the world would be a much better place....love and hugs hun, love the tags and hope you can get some relief from your crafting and sharing with us xxxxx

Hi Zoe, your tags are wonderful I have just made my 1st tag, and have got the bug now.

Zoe, you and your OH are amazing for the care and love you give to the children, that you keep safe until they can go to a permanent loving home, and I bet they will all remember you with love for the rest of their lives.

Hugs
Janet
