Zoe - Challenge #2 February "Lilac or Blue, or both"

Good morning Lovelies, and a warm welcome to my humble blog!

Today is the start of our 2nd challenge over at Lavinia Stamps our theme this month is "Blue, Lilac or both" we have the most amazing and talented Design Team, it's such an honour to be part of it and to use the most amazing Stamps and products which are designed by the very talented Tracey Dutton!

Please make sure that in your project you only use Lavinia Stamps, sadly you won't be included in the challenge if you don't, there is a prize of a whopping £40 to spend in Lavinia Stamps Shop for the winner!

Apart from that, there will also be a "Spot Prize" for February, anyone can enter it, just leave a comment under the February challenge, and at the end of the month, a name will be drawn and the winner will get a £20 voucher to spend in the Lavinia Shop

So here are my samples!

My first card I created using distress stains and a pewter metallic Stain on a craft mat and all smooshed onto the card and dried, very easy and quite pretty, the shimmer from the metallic doesn't show so well in the photo, the stamps I used are the Danedlions, I used them around the edge too, the little birds are a die, and some liquid pearls to add some texture!

My second card I used blender brushes to apply my inks, for a less intense effect it looks more like airbrushing, the trees and little birds are a die, I used Fairy dust silhouette, which I stamped also onto some acetate and glittered the wings, which I cut out and adhered the the fairy, it doesn't show so well in the photo but it really stands out, liquid pearls and glitter dotted about to add a more ethereal feel to it all.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I love reading your comments, have a great day xx Zoe xx
