Sneaky peep # 3 for Sheena Douglass shows on Monday

Good morning Lovelies! Here's another sneaky peep of my samples for Sheena Douglass show on Create and Craft, Monday 9am and 3pm! Featuring the "A Taste of India" Embossing Folders.

For my sample I have used a "Faux Batik" technique using wax paper.

I started by running some wax paper through my Ebosser using the floral confetti folder, then sandwiched the wax paper between 2 bits of Centura pearl card (reverse side) then covered with a cloth and ironed using a hot "Dry" iron no steam, you won't see much but if you tilt it into the light you will see a slight pattern, you then ink over using distress inks, you get a positive and a negative pattern as you've used 2 bits of card, so 2 for 1, I embossed on a plain white card and cut out some flowers to embellish my card, a very simple design but effective I think?

Thank you for visiting today, don't forget to watch Sheena Monday or set the recorder, have a wonderful day, xx Zoe xx

It certainly IS very effective indeed Zoe. Gorgeous colours and the pop of white against the luscious colours is PERFECT.

Thanks for dropping by my blog earlier - I had a great time at Eileen's Workshop and it was a pleasure to meet you earlier today.

Wow - your cards on the telly - YOU'RE the talented one! I didn't realise you were famous!
