Feeling sad

Good evening Lovelies!

Yes I'm feeling very sad at the moment, our gorgeous foster baby boy is moving onto adoption on Monday, I can't tell you how heartbreakingly hard it is, it's so painful, but also a very happy thing for him and his new Mummy and Daddy, they are so lovely. He's 7 months now and the time has flown by, that tiny boy I picked up from hospital at 1 day old has turned into a gorgeous big blue eyed chunk, we adore him! Such a bittersweet situation, every time I get to this stage I ask myself why I'm putting myself through this agony? The answer is - I love the job and I feel like I'm making a difference!

Anyway here's a card I've made for him and his new Mummy and Daddy

These next 2 are using fab Hobby Art stamps.

Next 2 are using fab new stamps by Indigoblu, the huge poppy is stamped with Brusho's

Thank you for putting up with me, I hope I haven't depressed you? Have a good weekend xx Zoe xx

Zoe, there are only a few very special people in this world that can give their love and dedication to making the 1st important months of a babys life that special start. You and your Hubby are among them.
How you do it time after time I do not know. It must be truly heart breaking to see them go. But, like you say a bitter sweet moment when you send them off for the start of a new life.
You are both truly remarkable.
Hugs Janet xxx

PS your cards and tag are fabulous. xxx

Thinking of you Zoe! Can't imagine how hard Monday will be or the days/weeks following. I'm glad they have found a lovely family for that wee bundle though and you're right, you've made a difference to all their lives. Loving your projects today, especially the first one. Love the blue and white with the stark black. hugs and best wishes, mo xxx

What a remarkable person you are and yes, as the comment above says, your hubby should also be included. You've given this small child a loving and secure start on his life's journey, a huge achievement and selfless act. His new parents have a well adjusted, happy little boy to cherish from Monday. Enjoy your precious time with him and be thankful for the past months which you've had with him. The cards and memory box you've been doing for him will be a prized and treasured possession and a reminder of the wonderful start you've given him. Wishing him a continued charmed, happy and successful life. ❤️ x

Hi Zoe, you and your hubby are very rare in today's society to give your love to this little boy (and others) and give him a loving stable start in his life. I take my hat off to you both and know that Monday will be difficult for you both. I will be thinking of you both. As always your creations are stunning and that poppy is amazing.
Enjoy your weekend with your little boy.
Hugs

It's obvious that you'll be sad to see him go, but I bet you're also very happy to see him get a family he deserves....and you've given him the VERY BEST possible start in life. You probably need a little holiday now, before taking on the next baby ;-)
All gorgeous cards, especially the BRIGHT one.....and that's a fab poppy stamp.

I think you and your hubby are truly remarkable to do fostering. I'm sure it is heartbreaking at times, but you most definitely ARE making a difference. Good on ya.

Love ALL the cards you've displayed here, but my absolute fave is "Friends to the End" one. SUCH a pretty flower image. You've done it again . . . it'll HAVE to go on the wish list now!
