Sneaky peep number 4

Good morning Lovelies! Yay! Sunshine :)

Well the day is here! Sheena Douglass will on Create and Craft tv today 11am, 4pm and 7pm, debuting her fab new stamp sets and a few old favourites. Here are my final 2 samples.

My first sample is a White wax crayon resist technique, very effective.

My second sample I stamped the bird then masked him off, simple inking with a few splashes of water, then I over stamped him with the ornate bird and heat embossed with gold EP.

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you will enjoy the shows xx Zoe xx

Zoe - 34th Challenge - "Back in time/Vintage"

Good morning Lovelies! I hope your all well?

It's that time again, a new challenge over at Rhedd and Rosie's Moira is sponsoring this fortnights challenge and she chose Back in time/Vintage for her theme, she's also offering this fab prize to the winner.

So without further ado, here is my contribution!

I've used a combination of Tim Holtz stamps and inks to create my collage style tag, I hope you like it? Please join in we would love to see your fab creations!

Thank you for visiting today, have a great day xx Zoe xx

Sneaky peep number 2

Good morning Lovelies, rather wet and dull this morning :(

Today I'm sharing with you my second sneaky peep of the wonderful new Stamp sets that our talented Sheena Douglass will be premiering on a Create and Craft TV on Friday, 11am, 4pm and 7pm, be sure to tune in or record the shows, you won't want to miss her fab techniques, or the opportunity to purchase some gorgeous new goodies!

My sample today is a plaque, I used an old cardboard box and striped back some of the top layer, I gave it a very light covering of Gesso, just to keep it a bit shabby looking, the background I heat embossed the sentiment's in white EP, then I used Silks Acylics by Luminart masking off a sun, the rest is heat embossed with black EP painted with the Silks and fussy cut!

I hope you like today's creation, thank you for visiting and don't forget to tune in. Have a great day xx Zoe xx

Sneaky peep

Good morning Lovelies!

I'm very excited to tell you that the fabulous Sheena Douglass has some more shows on Create and Craft tv, Friday at 11 am, 4pm and 7pm with some amazing new stamp plates, you will adore them!

Here's my first sample, I had this Chipboard frame and just knew these stamps would be great for it!
I've used the fabulous Kingfisher which I heat embossed with black EP after first using Gesso to prep my frame, then I used Silks Acrylics as my background, I used the branch from the "New Leaf" stamp set released previously, all painted with Silks Acrylics.

I hope you will tune in? Thank you for visiting, have a great day xx Zoe xx

Zoe - Challenge #6 - June - "Add some beads or gems"

Good morning Lovelies! I'm hoping June is going to bring some sunshine :) I can't believe we are in the 6th month! Where did the first 6 months go?

So here we are onto our 6th challenge with Lavinia Stamps and as you can see by the title that it's "Add beads or Gems" please be mindful that the rules state, you must use Lavinia Stamps for your entry!

There is a fabulous prize of £40 voucher to spend on Lavinia products here!

So onto my samples for this months challenge, I hope you like them!

My first card I started by masking the edges with lo-tack tape and painted using Luminarts Silks Acrylics, in 3 colours very roughly, I didn't want them to blend, these are gorgeous colours with a beautiful shimmer, they are classed as a glaze as they are translucent, but are very versatile, I used the Zentangle flowers and added a sentiment and some Dew Drop beads.

I used masks to create my background scene with distress inks, stamping with a selection of stamps (from Lavinia of course), I coloured the blossoms in with distress markers then added a blob of "dries clear" adhesive and added clear micro beads, you can see in the closer up photo below better.

Thank you for spending the time to visit, I hope you feel inspired to join in? If not why not pop along to my teamies blog too? Have a great day xx Zoe xx
