Baby girl card!

Good evening lovelies! Well a very autumnal feel in the air today! After all those awful gales last night!
Tonight I've made a less is more baby girl card!
8x8 white scalloped edge card base, I stamped on white card with versamark ink the gorgeous Gingham background stamp by Visible Image, then swiped with Magenta tint Pan Pastels, sealed with cheap hairspray, embossed the other side with an M-bossability folder, covered the join with a pretty satin ribbon, the footprint stamp I got from hobbycraft for £1 the other day, I used the same technique as background for this and the second layer which is another Visible image background stamp, I used my trusty spellbinder nesties to create the layer and topper, the flowers and feathers are from stash! Hope you like it? Thank you for visiting xxxx

one for the men!

Good evening lovelies! I'm itching to get out to craft tonight, but it's blowing a gale out there! My craft room is in the garden!
So tonight's post I actually made last night!
So I started with an 8x8 cream scalloped edge card base, I matted with craft card that I'd created a background by embossing a script stamp in clear EP and inked over with brushed corduroy DI I then stamped with mustard seed DI the harlequin background stamp from Visible image, and the Grunge polka dot background in wild honey DI, I then used brushed corduroy dabber style stain to create splats randomly, this created a great Grungy background, I'm loving doing these collage style backgrounds at the moment for men's cards, the next layer I used a large polka dot mask to emboss craft card and inked over with peeled paint DI and rounded the corners, the topper I embossed using the cogs mask and inked with mustard seed DI and the edges with black soot DI to create a frame I used the brushed corduroy DI and the harlequin background stamp again but second generation this time to make it more distressed, then stamped the vintage car which is from Creative Ex travel set in coffee Archival ink! The tickets are also C Ex stamps from the steampunk set which I inked and crumpled up and stuck on with pinflair for some definition! A lot of work but love scratch crafting, I think it came out well? Thank you for visiting today! If you get a chance visit http://www.visibleimage.co.uk their stamps are fab quality and the service is second to none!

Good morning lovelies! Happy August bank holiday, can't believe this is the last holiday weekend now until Xmas!
An early post from me today!
8x8 cream scalloped edge card base, matted with Creative Ex craft card, I cut a third off and stamped fern leaf from CEx Dandelion wishes stamp set in pearlescent ivy brilliance ink, the other two thirds I embossed using CEx embossing folder, I inked the edges with same ink pad, I used American seam binding in a gorgeous dark teal/green also CEx to cover join, I pleated top and bottom and added a double bow with CEx pearl embellishment, paper in dark teal is from stash which was cut using spellbinders grand ovals also the smaller oval from same set, the sentiment is from the same stamp set, I didn't make the flowers myself this time, I inked the roses with the same ink pad just to tie them in added some more flowers and a feather! Voila! Hope you like this card? I think it's turned out pretty well concidering it wasn't what I was intending to make lol! That's me all over! Thank you for taking the time to visit xxx

Red and green crimbo card!

Good evening Lovelies! Been strange weather here today down on the East Kent coast! Rain, wind, sunshine, chilly, warm and hot!
Tonight's make is a less is more type of card! I'm entering it into http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/red-and-green-should-be-seen-at-winter.html winter wonderland challenge! The theme is red and green!
8x8 cream card base matted with green which I'd pierced all around edges, then cut and embossed and cut an aperture using the largest square grand nestie and the Christmas tree all by spellbinders, I pierced around the edges again and mounted on foam for dimension, the tree I stuck flat into the aperture, stamped and embossed the sentiment which is from an Indigoblu set, added the green and cream grosgrain striped ribbon two hat pins and a bobby dazzler! I just love these simple designs! Thank you for visiting xxx
