Mother's Day card

Good morning Lovelies and a very warm welcome to new followers! This morning I'm sharing with you the card I have made for my Mum!

8x8 card base matted with white linen paper from Papermill Direct then black also PD my top layer is white Linen texture card also from PM, I have used stamps from Indigoblu, the background is the new stamp called "Square peg round hole" a very versatile stamp, I love it, I used Adirondack inks is pink sherbet and wild raspberry, I inked mostly with the lighter shade and just added the darker around the top, the "Mum" is Docraft I think? The sentiment is Creative Expressions and the butterfly is from Studio 490 by Wendy Vecci love her stamps! A very quick and simple card! Thank you for visiting and have a lovely day x

I'm entering this into http://lejdesignschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ spring theme!

Easter card!

Good Evening Lovelies! Welcome new followers! Well I've had a busy afternoon in my craft room, I made a couple of projects that I can blog yet and an Easter card I've made or a friend who is mad on blue! I also had a good old clear out of scraps and crap lol, quarter filled the recycle bin, does feel good though! Got a box to put more scraps that won't get used in lol!

Well my new Stamps from Indigoblu arrived yesterday and I'd been dying to play, I saw this stamp on a post by the very talented Jo Rice last week and had to have it!

My photo isn't too great I couldn't get rid of the glare, 8x8 as usual lol, I stamped around the edge of the base card itself with the egg and blue DI, I embossed some linen textured card from Papermill Direct using CC 8x8 EF, I cut more Linen card with a Grand fanciful oval die the second to smallest and inked using the blue DI, I used Flitterglu and Winter Dawn gilding flakes! The flowers were cut spellbinders which I layered up, added bling from stash!

It's a shame about the photo, the egg is a beautiful Damask pattern!

It's really not my sort of card but my friend will love it lol! Thank you for visiting xx

I'm entering this card into the Indigoblu challenge http://community.indigoblu.com/?p=3086

Zoe March Challenge "Music"

Good morning Lovelies! Wow can you believe it's March already? Roll on spring, getting a bit fed up with feeling cold and wearing loads of layers!

So here is my second DT post for today, this time its Cards Galore challenge blog our theme this month is "Music" our sponsor is Stamping Dragon

http://dragonslairdesigns.com/shop/ they are offering the winner a £5 voucher!

I chose the cute image Bobby Ipod to create my sample! My card as usual is 8x8 matted with white card that I ran through my GC using a star Splodgeaway mask then inked whilst in situ with shabby shutters DI, all the stamps I used for the background of my image and the rosettes and boarder strip are a Kanban set, I inked everything with the same ink as the stars, my little Bobby I coloured using Spectrum Noir's, my colouring in skills are not great I'm afraid, I do try though! Lol,
Thank you so much for spending the time to visit my blog and leaving such kind comments, I really appreciate it, I do hope you will join in this months challenge? Please pop along and take a look at the other fabulous creations our wonderful DT have made. here! Is the link!

Zoe Challenge #9 "A mothers love"

Good morning Lovelies! Here's my DT sample for The Cupboard Trilogy, our theme this month is "Mothers love", I do hope you can join in this month? Here is the link http://thecupboardtrilogychallenges.blogspot.co.uk/?m=0

So here's my Mother's Day card, it's 8x8 I matted with white paper I'd inked with 3 shades of adirondack ink blending light to dark, I then matted with more white card I'd die cut with a spellbinder extendable die I think it's called botanical? I then cut a spellbinder butterfly and used the waste as a stencil to ink through in the same inks as the first layer, the vine stamp is from Kanban, the MUM I think is Do-crafts? I mounted it on foam for dimension, The 2 white butterflies are spellbinder dies! I hope you like my card, please pop along and take a look at the rest of the fabulously talented DT samples.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, have a lovely day xxx

Another page of my Journal!

Good evening my lovely blog friends and new followers, welcome to my blog!

I have created another Journal page, which I have to confess I pinched the idea from the brilliantly talented Eileen Godwin! http://eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.co.uk/

please pop along and visit this fabulously inspiring blog,

I'm a bit of a fan! Lol does it notice?

On a 7x7 peice of Ivory Hammered card from Papermill Direct, I inked and blended DI, blobbed some red ink on with bubble wrap and inked through some sequin waste, then using a Dylusions mask spritzed water then blotted with tissue, I stamped the fabulous stamp from Visible Image set with Perfect Medium and heat embossed with black Cosmic Shimmer detail EP, the words I just stamped with black Archival, I then just embossed the sides with a Damask EF from crafters companion one of their 8x8 ones, once embossed I just rubbed on some Goldleaf Rub N Buff over the embossed bits! I'm really pleased how it turned out! Thank you for visiting xxx

Very exciting news!

Good morning Lovelies! Well a very exciting day for me! I was invited to join as a DT member to a brand new challenge blog, by the very talented Sandra J Wright, of course I was thrilled to be asked and accepted, along with me are the very talented; Nicky Wilcox, Moira Gray and Tina Teasdale, so today is the launch of our brand new Challenge blog! It's an "Anythings goes challenge blog" which means you can make anything you like as long as it fits our theme! We will be running fortnightly challenges! So to kick off our first theme is "Anything goes" so nice and easy!

Here's our link!

So here's my sample! It's a bit out of my comfort zone, I love vintage style but sadly I don't feel I do it well myself! However I bought this gorgeous Stampendous stamp a while ago and hadn't used it, so thought I'd better! So I kept it simple! I stamped onto watercolour card in Chipped Saphire DI and just used a water brush to soften it and add shading, once dry I added some irredescent glitter to the roofs and snowy bits, sadly it doesn't really show in the photo as I kept it fairly subtle, I used 8x8 Kraft card base which I matted with Tim Holtz Kraft resist paper pad (Christmas) which I inked with Chipped Saphire DI on my Splodgeaway mat, a fab bit of kit! I embossed some ivory hammered card from Papermill Direct using an EF and lightly inked using a brown DI, the embellishments were cut using TH decorative strips, festive greenery and Mini snowflake rosettes, onto TH resist Kraft resist pad and inked using various DI! I hope you like it? I'm fairly pleased with it but feel I need a lot more practise with this style! Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you will join us on our challenge? And of course pop over and check out the other wonderfully talented DT's samples!
