Good morning Lovelies! And a very warm welcome to new followers!

Wow what an amazing amount of fabulous entries with our last challenge! I hope this one will be just as popular? For Rhedd and Rosie's challenge

Our Rosie is sponsoring this challenge, the theme was chosen by Moira which is "Time" a great theme!

Rosie is very generously offering this wonderful prize!

Here's my card!

I used clocks background by Urban stamps which I stamped with coffee Archival, I then heat embossed with white "stampendous" detail EP the wonderful vintage Flourish from "Indigoblu" then blended over with Crushed olive and Vintage photo DI, I used several DI onto my brown mat spritzed with water and swooshed A4 card stock through it then dried and repeated twice more, I used Tim Holtz dies to cut this card into the rosettes and clock face! The sentiment is from a "Time" stamp set from Creative Expressions!
I hope I've inspired you to join in? Don't forget to pop along and check out my very talented teamies makes too? Thank you so much for taking the time to visit! Have a great day xx hugs Zoe xxx

Very exciting news!

Good evening Lovelies! I'm sorry it's a late post.

I have some very exciting news to share with you! I can hardly believe it! I have been invited to become a DT member for Lavinia Stamps! :D I'm so thrilled, it's a dream come true for me, I can't wait to get started, I love Lavinia Stamps, I have many, the quality is great and the gorgeous designs are unique and beautiful, why not check them out here?

So onto my card! I heard some sad news today that my daughters ex-boyfriends dad past away after a very brave 7 year battle with cancer, such a lovely man, he will be greatly missed, he was awarded a CBE a few years back for his tireless charity work in our area, he was responsible for setting up a food kitchen and also accommodation for the homeless!

I created it with Pan Pastels, and an Indigoblu stamp called "stylised flowers" the colour combo Turquoise shade and Violet, I half inched from the very talented Eileen Godwin I saw her gorgeous tag the other day and loved it! I thought the colours suited a sympathy card, what do you think? Thank you visiting today, really appreciate it xx

Lavinia stamps and Pan Pastels!

Good evening lovelies! Friday again, where are the weeks going?

Tonight I'm sharing with you a card I've made using the wonderful Lavinia Stamps and Pan Pastels, a match made in heaven as far as I'm concerned! I have to admit I was inspired to make this card by the very lovely and talented Pauline Butcher you can visit her wonderful blog here! I'm also entering it into the Lavinia stamps challenge, the theme is "punch or die cut" for a chance to win the most generous prize of a £40 voucher for their web shop! Wow!

Speaks for itself really lol! I have added some of the fab detail sparkle by Imagination crafts to the flower centres, it's lovely stuff actually, not to be confused with glitter glue, although similar but in fact it's more dimensional, which is fab.

Hope you like it? Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and leaving a comment, it really does make my day. Have a great weekend xxx

Show us your Twinchies!

Good evening Lovelies! Wow what a storm during the night and this morning! Not keen on them, but got through it without retreating to bedroom and drawing the curtains lol!

Just a quick post tonight, I have made a couple of Twinchies for my old stomping ground http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/ in support of the lovely Sylv! The theme is "English Country Garden" I've used a "Mini Jofy" stamp, I tried masking the first one so I only got the shed but didn't line up we'll enough! However I liked it a bit random, thought it suited the stamp? I coloured them in with my Inktense pencil's, I used DI to colour the card and a tiny butterfly punch to finish!

Thank you for visiting xxx

Good Evening Lovelies! Well everyone has been moaning about the heat, not me I love it, it is tiring but we don't get much, but today had to wear cardi all day, been chilly :(

Anyway tonight I wanted to play with a new stamp set I got today from Darkroom door, it's one of the Wilderness sets can't remember which right now? I'm really pleased how its turned out, it was so simple and quick, I've used white linen texture card from Papermill Direct for the background, I used the reverse side of Centura Pearl card for the image, perfect for ink techniques.

Good morning Lovelies! Another fortnight here, the year is flying by, I hope your all enjoying the summer?

Our very own Sandie is sponsoring this challenge with this fab prize for the winner!

My sample for the 11th challenge for Rhedd and Rosie's challenge is an 8x10 inch canvas, I wanted bright and cheerful and pretty, I've used a few different technique's to create it and I'm rather pleased how it looks, I do hope you do too!

I used 2 shades of green and a turquoise acrylic paint to create the colour, I used a swirly Splodgeaway mask in the background to give a subtle bit of texture! Tall grass stamp and butterflies by Visible Image, sentiment is Studio 490, the bush is Tim Holtz, Creative Expressions mask with white texture paste then Cosmic Shimmer gilding wax rubbed over, flowers are alterations Shabby Flower Bigz die coloured with Pan Pastels, the crow is from Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 art bits.

SplodgeAway! My favourite technique!

Good morning lovelies! It's "My favourite technique" week on the http://www.splodgeaway.blogspot.co.uk/

I have many techniques that I love to use with my masks so it was a very difficult choice, but I had to choose one! So I thought I'd share the Gelli plate multi layer technique using the Floral foundation nesting flowers and the large mixed floral mask!

I'm sorry, this is a long and picture rich post!

So here's what I used!
I never clean my Gelli plate, you can get some interesting designs!
So brayering on my first colour!

Lay the bubble wrap over the mask!

After lifting the first print add another colour
Then roughly laid the loose flowers out sort of on top of the first print but not perfectly!
Then bubble wrap over the flowers!
Here's the next print, using the same paper of course to create the multi layered design!
Then another colour!

After lifting that print, I laid the mask and used low tack tape to hold in place then placed the loose flowers inside the mask!

Using two different colour DI I carefully inked! Then removed the loose flowers!
Then removed the mask, to reveal the fab multi layered design!
And here's the finished card! I added a sentiment from Visible Image, some clear Dew drops and a pretty ribbon and matted and layered onto an 8x8 card base!
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial on multi layered Gelli plate design? Thank you for visiting, please pop back to the Splodgeaway blog each day to see what the rest of the talented DT have chosen xx
