Feeling sad

Good evening Lovelies!

Yes I'm feeling very sad at the moment, our gorgeous foster baby boy is moving onto adoption on Monday, I can't tell you how heartbreakingly hard it is, it's so painful, but also a very happy thing for him and his new Mummy and Daddy, they are so lovely. He's 7 months now and the time has flown by, that tiny boy I picked up from hospital at 1 day old has turned into a gorgeous big blue eyed chunk, we adore him! Such a bittersweet situation, every time I get to this stage I ask myself why I'm putting myself through this agony? The answer is - I love the job and I feel like I'm making a difference!

Anyway here's a card I've made for him and his new Mummy and Daddy

These next 2 are using fab Hobby Art stamps.

Next 2 are using fab new stamps by Indigoblu, the huge poppy is stamped with Brusho's

Thank you for putting up with me, I hope I haven't depressed you? Have a good weekend xx Zoe xx

Penny Black again!

Good morning Lovelies and a happy Sunday, it's beautiful out there today :).
Well a lovely friend of mine Barbara Daines is on this fab DT and they have a new challenge blog http://petalluchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk I haven't entered a challenge for a while so I thought "Why not" so I've made a card using my current favourite Stamp company Penny Black!
I started with watercolour card and stamped my flowers and used drawing gum to colour them in and splashed a bit about too, then I used Aquatints and lots of water to create my background, the background stamps are from Crafters Companion, I removed all my gum then coloured my flowers and leaves with the Aquatints, added a few dots using a silver glittery pen and edged with it too, I also splattered some Aquatints over it too, just for some texture, added my sentiment (can't remember who's) then just mat and layered using colour card from Papermill Direct and Linen textured white card also from there.

Thank you for visiting, have a great Sunday xx Zoe xx

Crafty day with Penny Black

Good evening Lovelies, and what a beautiful evening it is, I hope your all enjoying your weekend?

I spent my day down in Rochester, Kent at Eileen Godwin's Workshop and what a fab day it was too, all my lovely crafty friends and some new ones, cake, tea, chatter and laughs, and crafting of course, bliss!

It was a Penny Black stamps workshop today, although you could use what stamps you wanted, but I love PB as many of you know lol, so I was like a pig in muck :D

Here are my projects, I hope you like them?

I was unable to stay all day and so only completed one project which was my canvas, but I did some homework, using Eileen's inspiration.

The bling doesn't show well in this photo so I took a closeup!

Thank you for joining me today, have a great weekend xx Zoe xx

Penny Black

Good morning Lovelies and a happy polling day to you all lol!

This morning I'm sharing with you a card I made last night, I'm loving everything Penny Black at the mo as most of you should know by now lol! Anyway this card is a watercolour using a Penny Black mask, it's inspired by the very talented Jill Foster Click on her name to view her tutorial of this technique!

I used a Grand Nestabillity to cut my edge and 2 strips of red tape and the fab Sweet Poppy glitter in soft gold, the sentiment is from Rubbernecker stamps.

Thank you for visiting today, have a great day xx Zoe xx

Donna Downey stamps and Penny Black dies

Good evening Lovelies, love a duck what a blustery day, loving the sunshine though. Well I don't know about you but I will sure be glad when the election is over! Phew! I make a point of "not" discussing my political preferences, purely because I know very little about politics and I can sit on the fence a bit, however I am very firm on who I will vote for, always have been, but I'll keep it to myself because I feel politics and friendship don't go together lol.

Anyway enough of that! Here's a couple of my makes from this week. My first is using the gorgeous Donna Downey Poppy stamps.

My Second using spray stains and Penny Black dies, the bow is a sizzix die, very simple.

Thank you for visiting today, hope you have a great evening xx Zoe xx

Ryn's Hibiscus

Good evening Lovelies, what a strange day, rain this morning, then very warm and sunny but blowing a gale lol, they say "all the English talk about is the weather" lol, not surprising really is it?

This evening I'm posting my Mums birthday card, it's on the 20th but she doesn't go on computers lol my Mum loves pink and flowers and I thought Ryn's Hibiscus was perfect for her, bit of an ordinary card for me but she doesn't really like my usual colourful creations lol.

And here's Hubby's card, it's our 22nd wedding anniversary on the 22nd. I used these lovely stamps by Penny Black.

Thank you for visiting today, have a great evening xx Zoe xx

More Penny Black

Good evening Lovelies, well what a beautiful Bank holiday Monday, it's been raining since 4pm but the rest of it was beautiful warm sunshine. I hope you've all had a fab BH weekend? Mine was quiet as usual, but then with a baby to look after it's hardly going to be exciting lol.

I've managed to make some cards this evening, May is a busy month "Birthday wise" for us, so I'm pleased I managed to get hubby's nieces cards done (the 2 bottom ones)

My Thank you card I used the wonderful stamp from Penny Black which I stamped twice and painted using Aquatints and decoupaged for dimension.

I used the fab Butterfly die from Penny Black as my centrepiece.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoy what's left of the holiday xx Zoe xx
