Designs by Georgina Stencils

Good morning Lovelies, I hope you're enjoying the Christmas break, ours has been quiet and lovely, just how I like it.

I hadn't been out in my crafty summerhouse for well over a week and was having withdrawals lol, I'd picked up a few bargains in the advent sales and was itching to play, also need to give a shout out to my lovely friend Eileen Godwin who posted about These fab stencils by Georgina, thanks Eileen, great stencils, not just stencils either!

So onto my designs, hope you're not bored with Christmas cards lol, I've made a start on next years lol.

My first two are made using Georgina's stencils, the first with a Memory Box die and Lavinia Stamps sentiment.

Second card I used Chocolate Baroque sentiment, along with the stencils.

My third card I used a combo of Crealies stitched xxl dies with Memory Box and Poppy stamp dies, the background I used Georgina's die to create the moon and Distress inks and the mandatory stickles glue gel.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you like my cards, I hope I've inspired you to pop along to Georgina's website and check her products xx

Chocolate Baroque 18th Colour Challenge

Good morning Lovelies and a very Merry Christmas one and all, well yesterday was my birthday, bit of a non-event these days lol at now gulp! 54 years old I was hoping I could start going backwards lol

So today it is my turn to showcase my card for the Chocolate Baroque 18th Colour Challenge, please check the blog for the rules. Below are the colours you need to include in your project.

So for my card I used dies to create the shape, flowers and foliage which were coloured with Distress Inks, my background was stamped using Versamark and heat embossed using White embossing powder, a bubbly stamp from the Tangled Fragments stamp set, I then blended Festive Berries Distress ink over the stamped area fading it out towards the bottom, once I was happy I sandwiched it between some baking /greaseproof paper and ironed using a "Dry" hot iron, this is called the "Faux Batik" technique in case you didn't know lol, it re-melts the embossing leaving a smooth finish which then enables you to stamp over it using Archival or Stazon Inkpad, I did need to touch it up a bit with a black marker pen to make it a bit sharper, the word and squiggle are from Artistic Affirmation stamp set

I hope you like my creation, a nice change from Christmas projects given the colour combo, please pop along and check out my fab teamies creations too xx have a great day, don't stress out too much for the big man in red, enjoy your Christmas xx Zoe xx

Chocolate Baroque on TV again Whoop whoop!

Good morning Lovelies, I'm back today not with any samples for Chocolate Baroque unfortunately as they are top secret, but I am here to let you know that our fabulous Lesley Wharton is back on our screens from tomorrow evening (Friday 4th December) on The Craft Channel starting at 6pm and repeated over the weekend on the Weekend Wonder, with some fantastic new stamps, you don't want to miss it xx

So here are some more of my recent creations:

We have a lot of birthdays over Christmas and mostly men, so here are some very quick cards using stamps and Brusho's

Indigoblu Stamps and distress inks for our little foster baby's first Christmas, love having a little one here, he's 10 months old and full of gorgeous cheekiness, unfortunately we can't put up our usual big tree this year as he is very mobile and it wouldn't be safe, so lots of Christmas ornaments up high I think? Lol bless him, so exciting :)

This bear card I'm entering into the Indigoblu Challenge - Winter Blue

Lavinia Stamps and Penny Black Stamps, I was asked to recreate my DT card for Lavinia stamps Challenge that posted yesterday, me being me couldn't possibly do the exactly the same card twice so I've kept it similar, I hope she like it, she had the other one too?
Penny Black and Memory Box stamps and dies here.

Thank you for stopping by today, I really love to read your comments, have a great day xx Zoe xx

Zoe - Challenge #12 December - "Let it snow"

Good morning Lovelies! Wow can you believe the big man with a white beard will be coming very soon ;) I hope you're all prepared for the seasonal festivities?

Today I'm sharing with you my samples for Lavinia Stamps Challenge, the theme this month is "Let it snow" remember you Must use Lavinia Stamps products to enter the challenge, you also don't need to have a blog you can simply enter by email, details are on the blog here. There is a superb prize of £40 to spend in the online store, winner is chosen by random widget.org thingy!

My first card I used circle dies as a base and frame, I die cut the deer Celtic die using double sided adhesive sheet on card and rubbed gilding flakes over the sticky side, I mounted onto a gold card and added white glue with glitter and few gems and sequins.

Disress inks and stamps used on my second card.

My third card is my first attempt at the "Northern Lights Technique" I'm pretty pleased how it turned out. It doesn't show so well, but I stamped the reflection using my SplodgeAway mat and memento ink and I drew a line between the image and reflection with a silver glitter pen, the snow is Liquid Pearls and glitter.

Thank you for visiting, please pop along to my very lovely and talented teamies for more inspiration, have a great day, oh and Merry Christmas teehee xxx
