I stamped my Dylusions border stamps with "Versamark" ink then swiped over with my Pan pastels, sealed with some cheapo hairspray, I then stamped the stripy background again with Versamark and swiped over this time with the gorgeous "Metallic" pan pastels various colours, these have given a beautiful subtle shimmer in the background but really picked up the shimmer more on the stripes, the photo really doesn't do the tag justice! The image is a "Banksy" inspired stamp from Beecrafty!

This tag I used Pans again in "Dairylide yellow tint" then using the fabulous Premium Art Brands "A5 Victorian mask" I only used parts of it in the corners, using "Dairylide yellow and oxide green shade pan pastel"

The stamps are Jofy by Paperartsy! I stamped with Archival ink, then painted using pan pastels mixed with a bit if water, then added highlights with Coloursoft pencils, I decoupaged the flowers and leaves on! I hope you like my tags? And they have inspired you to give it a go?

Many thanks for visiting my long blog today xx

So the new challenge over at Rhedd and Rosie's this fortnight is "something for the men" now I know a lot of people don't find making men themed cards easy! But I really enjoy doing men's cards and tags!

This challenge is sponsored by Rosie who is offering this fabulous prize for the winner who will be chosen by Rebecca:

So onto my card, I used SplodgeAway Cogs Frame mask with DI, my image also using DI to colour tint then stamped using this fab vintage style ship which is by Inkylicious, and the fabulous Waterdroplets from Designs by Ryn, the tickets are Creative Expressions stamps which I coloured using DI then cut out and crumpled up!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my card, and feel inspired to join in? Please pop over and check out the rest of our talented DT's creations, many thanks for your time today xx

Visible image and Pan Pastels!

Good evening Lovelies, well it's been a beautiful day today, warm sunny and really rather pleasant!

I've made this tag to enter Visible Image challenge

Just very simple, I used Pan Pastels then lightly swiped over with the Silver Metallic Pan Pastel, very subtle but very pretty, unfortunately it doesn't really show the shimmer in my photo! I then stamped using all Visible image stamps. Thank you for visiting tonight, sorry it's a short post but my battery on my iPad is about to die xxx

Pan pastels and Lavinia Stamps!

Good evening Lovelies! This post is really just a mid month reminder for the Lavinia Stamps challenge, the theme is "Add a flower" and they are offering a whopping £40 to spend at the Lavinia Stamps web shop for the prize! Wow, you'd be crazy to not want a chance to win!!!

I've used the new stamp set designed by the very talented Tracey Dutton that featured on QVC with Imagination Crafts! I used Pan Pastels on the background, the sun/moon I used the new metallic pan pastels to create a pretty shimmery effect, not sure my photography shows it very well? I used sparkle medium through the gorgeous Sweet a Poppy stencil also designed by Tracey, I'm always a little cautious with sparkle and shimmer as it can be a bit too much, but actually I like how it's turned out and after all, it wouldn't be a fairy without a little bit of fairy sparkle!

Thank you for visiting xx

SplodgeAway sample!

Good morning lovelies! An early one for me today! Thought I do a quick blog whilst baby having her nap, she was awake at 5 am although didn't get up until 6.30, I wish those pesky teeth would pop through :(

So this week on the SplodgeAway blog they are featuring the StenSkapes! They are fab, so versatile, and so easy to create a scene or I very often just use one or two elements from them to combine with other products, so today my sample is the 'Twit Twoo" StenSkape, I've used Distress Inks for my background and combined it with Lavinia Stamps, another big favourite of mine :)

You can buy all your masking needs plus much more here!

I always appreciate the time you spend to visit and comment on my blog, thank you xxx have a great day xx

Zoe - 15th challenge # "Steampunky"

Good morning Lovelies! I hope everyone is all back to normal now after the school holidays? Phew didn't it go quick?

So today is a new challenge day at Rhedd and Rosie's the theme is "Steampunky" and it is sponsored by Rick St Dennis!

We were very generously given a selection of digi's to choose from, now I'm not a Digi user, but I must say it was a pleasure to colour in, the detail is fab! So here she is!

I struggle with Steampunk, it's not my thing, so this is my take on it, I hope you like it?
I used a script stamp from Studio 490 heat embossed in white then inked over with old paper DI, the gorgeous shabby Flourish from Indigoblu had the same treatment, the little cogs stamp is from a Creative Expressions set, I used my fab Inktense coloured pencils to colour her in, I'm not great at colouring in, so I find pencils much easier and these pencils are fab!
I hope you are inspired enough to join in? I'd love to see your "Steampunky" creations, don't forget to pop along and check out what the rest of our very talented DT have created!
Thanks for visiting have a great day xx Zoe xx

Another Visible Image Snowflake card!

Good evening Lovelies! Very Autumnal feel this evening brrrrrrrr! Anyway as I said last night I was waiting for something to dry? So here it is!

I used the "Caught in Crystal" technique after I'd heat embossed with white EP the snowflakes! From Visible Image of course! I love em :) the sentiment is from a Creative Expressions set!

This second image is just a close up of the shimmery background!

Thank you for taking the time to pop along and comment, much appreciated xx

Visible Image stamps

Good evening Lovelies! Well I don't know about your weather? But it's teamed down with rain all blooming day :( grrrrrrr! I hate the rain, and it was chilly, not like at all!

Tonight I've made a Christmas card using the fab new Snowflake stamps from Visible Image! As soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them, even though I have loads of snowflake stamps lol! I wanted to try something with them, check tomorrow for that! It needs to dry over night! Hope it works?

Anyway this is a multilayer technique using a gloss card stock, I used VI music background with a very pale silver brilliance ink think its platinum? You have to heat set it, once dried I inked over with DI, dusty concord chipped sapphire, you have to go over several times to build up the colour as its gloss card, again I heat set it, then using cornflower Archival ink I stamped with the gorgeous flourish from Indigoblu, heat dried then dusted with a dust buddy stamped using perfect medium and dusted with white Stampendous detail EP the snowflakes and the Noel is from an Indigoblu set, heat set, wiped with a dry cloth and voila! Bit of matting and layering, few dew drops and Bobs ya uncle! Lol! I hope you like it? Thank you for visiting xx

Zoe - September Challenge # "Colour inspiration"

Good morning Lovelies!

A short post as I have 3 going live today lol! This one is Cards Galore, the theme is Colour inspiration, the idea is to create anything you like to include at least 3 of these yummy colours!

The winner of this challenge gets the opportunity to be our guest designer next month!

Lovely ice creamy colours I think?
So here's my card, I used my Gelli plate with a Splodgeaway mask to create my background, the stamps are all Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 which were all coloured with Acrylic paints cut out a layered, I love these stamps, so bold and different!
Thank you for visiting today, I hope you like my card and it inspires you to join in? Have a great day xx

Zoe - Challenge 7 # "Add a flower"

Good morning Lovelies! Woohoo finally the day has arrived :D I can't tell you how excited and proud I am to be showcasing my first DT samples for Lavinia Stamps Challenge blog wow! I still can't believe I'm part of this talented team with such wonderful products, the stamps are superb to use and such unique and amazing designs, thanks Tracey!

Tracey is offering an incredibly generous £40.00 prize to spend on their stamps! Wow!

So here they are, I hope you like them?

I used Pan Pastels, and it doesn't really show in the top photo but I used white texture paste through a Sweet Poppy Stencil, also designed by Tracey! Hopefully you can see it in the second photo?

The second one was Chipped Sapphire and the Denim DI which I just swept inwards using the darker at the edges, to create a kind of "moonlight over the water" effect!

The third one is also Pan Pastels, like the first one I've used linen textured card which gives a stunning effect with the Pans, I coloured the card and punched out the little flowers, I used some pale gold glitter glue in the centres!
Thank you so much for visiting today, I do hope you feel inspired enough to enter the challenge? After all you'd be crazy not to with that prize, don't forget to check out the rest of the gorgeous DT samples!
Have a great day xx
