Splodgeaway sample 2 masks in 1 project

Good morning Lovelies! Well we've had some beautiful autumn weather over the last few days, cold but bright and sunny, such a tonic after all that wind and rain!

Here is my sample for the 2 in 1 week for Splodgeaway I started by using Picket Fense Distress paint through the "8x8 Card King Mask" I dried it and then inked over with Distress inks, once dry I lightly buffed to bring out the paint more, I then splashed some water over and dried just to create a bit more texture, then taking my "Lattice mask" I spritzed the mask with water, laid it onto my tag and carefully lifted and blotted to created a shadowy sort of effect, the stamps are from "Indigoblu" Big Ben is from "Portabello rd" set, once dry I lightly inked around the edges using Black Soot DI on my fab Splodgeaway mat.

Thank you for visiting today xx

Zoe - Autumn project for Splodgeaway

Happy weekend Lovelies, I hope your all getting crafty over the weekend, what more can you do when it's raining?

This week it's "Autumn" week at Splodgeaway if you've not tried Splodgeaway products you are certainly missing out, Toms designs are innovative and original and the quality are fab, of course the Splodge mat in my opinion is the best on the market for blending your dye based inks! You can purchase them here!

So onto my make, "surprise" it's a card lol!

I used the Leaf mask with Metallic Distress paint, I dabbed it with my blending tool through the mask, I heat dried, then using my Splodgemat I blended distress inks in autumnal colours over the paint, once dry I splashed some water and dabbed dry to create a more shabby effect, I buffed the card once dried to remove any ink from the leaf design, the Die cuts and stamps are all Tim Holtz! I cut them using Grunge paper and coloured using DI on my Splodgemat, I mat and layered onto craft card which I inked the edges then mounted onto a craft card blank!

Thank you for visiting today, have a great weekend xx

I made my tag, first by blending various autumn shades in distress inks, then stamping in black Archival ink using TH mini Blueprint leaf stamps and a Justrite Harlequin background stamp, I then die cut all my leaves which are from a Spellbinders set, I used text printed paper and plain paper just to add some texture, I inked through the die and also after, to give overall colour, I dipped a few bits into my melt pot with clear UTEE just to add some more texture, I'm very pleased with the result, I do love Autumnal colours, so rich!

Craft cycle project for Splodgeaway

Good afternoon Lovelies! I'm sorry I'm a little late posting this today! I've had a busy, sad and lovely day all in one, firstly my Little one is moving onto adoption two weeks today so I had the planning meeting this morning so that was the sad and busy bit, the lovely bit was of course spending time with my adorable Ruby, this is the last week we have her to ourselves before the introductions begin next Monday then she moves the following Monday, it's very intense that week, so I'm making the most of this week with the little darling that's stolen our heart this time, :(

So onto my make, I wanted to do something a bit different, as it's Craft cycle week, I've used a bit of cardboard box, torn bits off to expose the core, I've used distress paint and stains through the masks, very simple! The sentiment are from a Dylusions set.

Splodgeaway masks and products are fabulous quality and Tom's designs are amazing and innovative and so easy to use, you can buy them here

Thank you for visiting today xx

As usual there is a fab prize up for grabs.

I've included a mini photo tutorial in this post just to show the less experienced Pan Pastel users how I created my leaves, I hope it doesn't bore you lol?

I started by swiping autumn colours onto A4 card stock and sprayed with cheapo hairspray to seal it after.

Then using Perfect Medium ink and these fab leaf stamps by Justrite I stamped ramdomly over the colours trying to get twotoned coloured leaves.
Then I used the different gold and copper shades of the Metallic Pan Pastels gently over the stamped image to bring out lovely shimmery leaves, looks fab in the flesh lol photos don't do them justice! Then sprayed again with hairspray to seal them.

Then the tedious bit! Cutting them out, lol which I actually enjoy, but I know many people don't lol!
I created my mats and layers for my card, firstly I got a rusty coloured card stamped with Perfect medium a background stamp all over called "Pinwheel" sorry I can't remember who it's by? Then swiped over with the darkest of the copper metallic PP and sealed with hairspray, I embossed white card stock with "Tied together" EF, bunged on me leaves, the sentiment is from the same stamp set and voila! I hope you like it?

Please pop along and visit my very talented teamies and feel inspired to join in, you have to use Pan pastels to enter, just follow the theme, rules are on the blog have a great day xxx

Good evening Lovelies, what delightful weather we've had for the weekend! I hope you're all well and enjoying the Autumn sunshine?

I'm loving everything Tim Holtz at the moment and eagerly awaiting Creative Chemistry 102 which starts tomorrow! Yippee!

Although I love using TH techniques and use them often in my crafting, I've not joined in with this challenge, before so when I saw the October tag and just knew I had to do it, so here is my interpretation, I've done the frame Black and the owl in Bronze, slightly different background colours, and chit chat stickers, love these little treasures xx

Zoe - Challenge #40 "Water"

Good Morning Lovelies! Well here is my second week on the fabulous Design Team with Premium Craft Brands! Our theme this week is "Water" there is a fab prize for the winner of the challenge, a fab trial set.

So here is my interpretation of "Water"

I stamped using Perfect Medium clear ink the tickets and clock from a Tim Holtz stamp set then simply swiped Pan Pastels over the top gently in a fairly random fashion, I sprayed with cheapo hairspray to seal it, I stamped the umbrella man using Versafine onyx black ink and made a mask out of a sticky note, I then stamped my raindrops from Designs By Ryn in the same ink, I then just took some sequin waste and splodged some Maemeri Gesso through it, it dried in a matter of minutes, I then stamped over in black archival a vintage label stamp by Inkylicious just to create more texture, added the sentiment from the same TH set, I added some white pen here and there for highlights and voila! A quick tag, I love quick lol!

Zoe - October Challenge "Flowers"

Good morning Lovelies, I hope you are all well? I'm keeping this post brief as I have 2 going live today!

Coredinations is our sponsor this month our theme over on Crafts Galore Challenge the theme as you can see is "Flowers" there is a fab prize up for grabs of some Coredinations goodies!

Now my sample is very different for me, we had some fabulous coredinations samples to play with which included tags, I got some inspiration from a post on Pinterest, using tags as the feature, I hope you like it?

I embossed and stamped and did a bit of distressing and inking to create a grungy type effect, the stamps on my tag, text background is just an old stamp from my stash, sorry I don't remember who it's by and the flowers are Paperartsy, the sentiment is by Jofy also by Paperartsy!
I really enjoyed creating this card, although it's very different style for me it is fun stepping out for a change!
Thank you very much for all the comments you leave, I really appreciate the support and comfort I get from you all! Have a great day xxx and don't forget to pop along and check out the rest of our fabulous DT samples xx
