Hot diggity dog!

Evening lovelies, this is my second blog for today, I was looking at everyone else's blogs earlier and saw allsortschallenge blog, so thought I'd enter this card, http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ The theme is Case it! I have copied the layout!
8x8 cream scalloped edge card base, matted with cream card that I pierced the edges, more cream card that I ran through m-bossability folder twice as it was bigger than folder, I then direct to paper inked with dusty concord DI, added the ribbons, have you noticed their crooked? Lol! Oops! The frame I created with a fancy grande nestie the smallest and the largest of a classic circle nestie, the paper I used for it and the flowers are from the hot diggity dog pad as is the image, which I coloured with spectrum noirs, I inked all the edges with broken China DI, Buttons from stash with purple twine, sentiment stamped and cut with spellbinder. Thank you for visiting xxx

Citrus monochromatic!

Good afternoon my lovelies!
Today's card was just a play time card, I think it turned out quite nice!
8x8 scalloped edge cream card, I pierced around the edge of cream card and matted, the leaf stamp and sentiment are from my fave set at the mo, creative ex dandelion wishes! I used dried marigold DI to stamp and ink edges, I used ornate diamonds creative ex embossing folder, also inked heavily with same ink, added cream lace, the topper is a spellbinder new set another fave at the mo too, I second generation stamped the leaf stamp in the DI around the edge randomly and lightly inked, the flowers and foliage are also spellbinders, I couldn't live without my foliage dies, got to be my most used dies ever! Also used cream card and inked with DI, added some bobby dazzlers, voila a very bright card! Thank you for visiting today xxx

Monochromatic!

Good afternoon Lovelies! Not often I say that! Hope you all had a fab weekend, wasn't the opening ceremony fantastic? Wow when we need to we can do it with bells on!
Not often I say this about my own work! But I love this card!
I used 8x8 scalloped edge cream card base, pierced the edges of black card and layered, I masked the edges of some taupe coloured card and stamped in black a leafy stamp from my lovely new fave set by Creative ex called Dandelion set, I then embossed with hounds tooth embossing folder the other bit of taupe card, had to run it through twice as it was bigger than folder, I then directly inked from pad with black soot DI, it's not terribly noticeable in pic, but I did some  pleating on the ribbon and added pearls where I didn't pleat, the sentiment is from the same stamp set, I used the smallest of the new and beautiful grande, nesties, ovals, inked lightly whilst still in die with black soot DI, I then cut and embossed, using black for the branches and taupe for the cherry blossoms and inked while still in die, with same ink. And there it is, hope you like it as much as I do? Thank you for visiting today xxx

A birthday card for a very special little girl.

Good evening Lovelies, what a scorcher :)!
Tonight's make is an emotional one for me, I'm a foster carer, and this card is for the last little one we had, she came to us at 4 days old and stayed until she was adopted at 17 months! I can tell you it was the hardest thing I've ever done, and will never get over it! A day doesn't go by without her being in my thoughts, and yes I still have times when I cry! That was nearly a year and half ago, she is extremely happy and her new mummy and daddy are the most wonderful and worthy, people to have my special little girl, and they do update me from time to time, thank goodness. And of course we have another little princess now, she came 3 weeks after the last one at a year old and will also be getting adopted fairly soon, so another broken heart coming up, I must be crazy, but in spite the heart ache I love my job!
So back to my card which is for the one that's been adopted she will be 3 in September, hopefully we'll get to see her?
I used 8x8 white scalloped edge card base, and just went crazy with my new spellbinder dies and m-bossability, i did it all with white and edged with pink sherbert adirondack ink, the image is Wellington stamp from a set, which I coloured using Spectrum noirs, the branches for the cherry blossom die are coloured with walnut stain DI, I dotted sticklers in the centre of cherry blossoms, added some buttons and a couple of the smallest bitty blossoms and foliage, the 3 is a template which I cut out onto double sided adhesive and plonked into micro beads, a bobby dazzler for biggest flower and voila, took quite a while, but I like the result, I had to get this right for her love her! Hope you like it? Thank you for spending the time to visit xxx

Good evening lovelies, wow! What a gorgeous day again! Love it, more please!
So as we're having a spot of warm weather, whats more fitting than a beach card?
I'd like to say this is a quick and simple card, but the image took me bloomin ages to colour in, apart from that it was easy! I coloured it in with watercolour pencils onto watercolour card. The rest is pretty simple. Thank you for visiting, hope to see you again soon xxx

I just used a white gel pen to create some definition, unfortunately I didn't notice that my acrylic block had some ink on it, until I took the photo, :( thank you for visiting xxx

Jacks birthday card!

Good evening Lovlies! Hope you've all had a great day? We had the Olympic torch run past today! Just down the road from me! It was great, and the rain held off!
Now I really am not keen on doing character cards! Neither am I keen on holographic card! but! Jack who will be 3 on Sunday, is our next door neighbour! And he is Buzz Lightyear crazy! We are going to his party Sunday! So here's his card!
8x8 gatefold, in white, the image I cut from a cheap card I bought in a card shop! I know! Mad! But it was the only image I could find, and the card was awful, plus it had a badge, which he will love! So I matt and layered green holographic card with orange Coredinations, which I embossed with a star EF, the 3 is a template I used the holo, happy birthday is a Sizzix die and the JACK is a cuttlebug cut and emboss folder, unfortunately it was getting dark when I took the pic and the light reflected a bit so you can't read Jack! I used a grande nestie for the image! Not my usual type of card, but I know Jack will love it! Thank you for taking the time to visit xxx

A simple card I used 8x8 scalloped edge cream card base cut an apature into burgany card using spellbinders heirloom die, the largest one, then stamped and clear sparkle EP some snowflakes, cut cream card the same die and whilst still in the die embossed with a snowflake folder, added sentiment from Indigoblu onto spellbinder banner, added a lovely bow topped off with a gorgeous bobby dazzler and two cream hat pins viola! A simple and easy but I think elegant card! Hope you like it? Thanks for stopping by xxx

White on white

Well lovelies, I don't know about yours but our weather has been very hit and miss today, bright sunshine one minute then pouring rain the next, come on its July!......
Tonight's make I am entering for http://cardsgalorechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ the theme is White on white. I used 8x8 scalloped edge base, matted with centura pearl which I'd pierced the edges, I embossed with spellbinders m-bossabilities daisy pattern had to run through twice as card bigger than folder, bet you can't see a join lol ;) I used white antique lace for edge and along bottom and blinged it with a lovely bobby dazzler, I cut 6 various size and style Spellbinders spiral flowers plus the Spellbinders foliage dies twice, probably my most used dies and one of my all time faves! And stuck em on! Voila! A simple card, hope you like it, thank you for taking the time to look!

Anything goes!

Sunset! is white cardI used pan pastels, permanent red, diary lied yellow and Hansa yellow, diagonally blending, I sealed with cheap hairspray, I stamped image using coffee bean archival ink, the image is from the same set as the Kingfisher, I then triple embossed with Ex deep EP and added 3 gold gems.
Illusion! is Stampboard which I painted with Antique gold Acrylic paint when it was dry I stamped in black stazon Illusion from CExpressions steam punk set, triple embossed with Ex deep EP on the third layer while still molten I sprinkled in some mica flakes, the frame with brads is from Tim Holtz.
