Zoe - 31st challenge for Rhedd and Rosie - "Tag it"

Good morning Lovelies! I'm on holiday in Turkey and not sure if we have wifi in our room so I've scheduled this post just in case!

This Fortnights challenge for Rhedd and Rosie is "Tag it"

So we would like to see tags on something, not just a tag, so a tag on a tag or a tag on a card or box etc!

Mandy chose this challenge and will be choosing the winner.

Ali-Craft are our famous sponsors this Fortnight and are giving these wonderful Artistic Outpost stamps to the lucky winner;

Here is my sample:

I used Tim Holtz stamps and Dies to create this Christmas card! I did a lot of distressing lol

Thank you for visiting today, I hope I've inspired you enough to join in? Have a great day xx Zoe xx

Sheena Douglass - A Taste of India

Good morning Lovelies and a warm welcome to new followers!

So the 4 - Day Deal is underway and boy what a success they are proving to be, not that we Inkoids had any doubt they would be! The stamps and embossing folders are stunning. Don't forget to tune in or record Create and Craft TV, Sheena will be on again today and tomorrow showing you superb techniques that go well with the 4 - Day Deal and stamps. I'd suggest getting them early to a aid disappointment, as they will probably sellout.

Sheena hand draws all her stamp designs and works incredibly hard to produce these stunning products.

I'm showing a couple of my samples from the mountain I made for the show, I made 24 samples, that's how fab they are lol!

I've chosen 2 cards using just the EF today my first card I've incorporated 2 EF I've used Indian Bouquet as my topper, I inked the centura pearl (reverse side) card first with DI then lightly spritzed the EF with water, the top side and ran through Ebosser to create a subtle watercolour effect, the backing I used the Floral Confetti on the shiny side of centura pearl card.

My second card I used the Henna Mango Screen EF. First I inked centura pearl card (reverse side)with DI then using Chipped Sapphire I inked the De-bossing part of the folder and created the "Letterpress" effect, I lightly inked the edges to give a frame to it.

Thank you for visiting today, I hope you can tune in? Have a great day xx Zoe xx

Another Sneaky Peep at Sheena Douglass's new stamps

Good morning Lovelies! And a very warm welcome to new followers!

Today I'm giving you another sneaky peep of the wonderful new Stamps range featured on Create and Craft tomorrow, they are called "A Taste Of India" in fact it's a range of stamps and Embossing Folders! They are absolutely stunning, I love them and had so much fun using them!

I slept pretty well last night! For me! I was exhausted from all that spending at Ally Pally lol! What a fab day, I met up with loads of lovely friends, some I already know from Eileen's workshop and some I only knew from Facebook: Rae Dalal, Bernie Simmons, Karen Clare, it was so wonderful meeting you at last, the lovely Kevin and Tracey Dutton from Lavinia stamps, wonderful stall superb new stamps and again so lovely to meet you, and not forgetting Mark and Helen from Visible image, so lovely to see you again xx

Anyway here is a sample I've made for the Lovely Sheena's Create and Craft show tomorrow (mon) featuring the fabulous "A Taste of India" new stamp and Embossing Folder range!

I used Dylusions ink sprays and a mask to create the background, the flowers were just Dylusions, I used bleach to lift the flower centers and details of the fabulous design, a very simple but bright and effective card!

I hope you tune in tomorrow? It's the 4 Day Deal on Create and Craft, I'll be surprised if they last the 4 days though once you see them xx have a fab Sunday Zoe xx

Sneaky Peep - Sheena's new stamps and EFs

Good morning Lovelies! An early post from me! I'm off to Ally Pally on the coach this morning woohoo! So excited, I'm going to meet up with some fb friends I've never met before :) can't wait!

So without further ado here is another sneaky peep of what's in store on Create and Craft TV, Monday for Sheena's 4-Day Deal

You will recognise the flowers from an older set of Sheena's, I've used Silks Acrylics to paint them and cut them out, the Silks are gorgeous, I love them so much, such a subtle shimmer and vibrant colours, although they are a glaze, you can layer them up to get a more opaque finish, very versatile! I started by painting my Silks directly onto the stamp, I then spritzed with water and stamped onto the reverse side of Centura Pearl card 3 times in a random fashion, even going off the edge, once dry I ran through the EBosser using the 5x7 Ornate Screen EF, my background I used a the A4 Indian Lattice EF from the range on the right side of the Centura Pearl card, I used a spellbinder die to create a label and stamped the lovely sentiment, the leaves are from my stash.

Thank you for visiting and don't forget to set your recorders or watch the wonderful Sheena Douglass on Create and Craft Monday for the 4 - Day Deal xx have a great weekend xx

Zoe - April - Challenge # 4 "Spring Colours"

Good morning Lovelies and a warm welcome to new followers of my humble blog!

No this isn't an April fool, it really is a new challenge month with the wonderful Lavinia Stamps as you can see, the theme this month is "Spring Colours"

Please be mindful of the rules of the challenge! You do need to use Lavinia Stamps only in your entry!

There is a fantastic prize for the winner of a whopping £40 voucher to be spent in the Lavinia Stamps web-shop

Here are my samples for this month!

I used distress inks for both of my samples, the second one I applied the ink with brushes for a more subtle and airbrushed effect. I've added some dimensional glitter glue in the centre of the blossoms on my bottom card, it doesn't show so well in the photo.
