15 minutes or less

Good morning Lovelies, I hope you're all managing to keep warm, can you believe its February tomorrow?

Today I'm sharing with you 3 samples I've made for our monthly feature over on the Chocolate Baroque DT blog.

As a Design Team member for such a wonderful company it's our responsibility to show off Lesley's fabulous stamps and their versatility and that doesn't always mean, Fancy, Arty stuff, some people like simple, quick and easy cards in particular for batch making etc. So we are featuring each month some projects that take 15 mins or less from start to finish.

My first card is simply 10.5 cm wide, it was an off cut of some Linen texture card which I've folded, it opens from the bottom, most of my cards do, I just prefer how they sit opening from bottom rather than the side. I had used Brushos on a project previously with bubble wrap and had some left on the bubble wrap, so rather than waste it I just plopped it onto my card and randomly stamped over with the flowers, added my sentiment, few sequins and bish, bash, bosh, done!

Stamps I've used are listed and linked under my last card.

My tag I started with distress crayons, scribbled then smudged, I inked over using Distress ink and blending sponge, spritzed with water to get texture then using a heart stencil with more distress ink and prizing again to make them wick and run a bit, once dry I splattered with black Dylusions spray ink, stamped the "Love" with Black Versafine ink, added some highlights to the word using a Liquid Chrome pen, few sequins and edges the tag in black DI.

Very simple my last card, I stamped the gorgeous rose with Versamark Inkpad, heat embossed using a pink Pearlescent EP and blended Distress inks over - Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick and then just matted and altered using black card and a textured white card.

Chocolate Baroque Coasters

Good morning Lovelies, welcome to my blog, I hope you're managing to keep warm?

Today I'm sharing a set of 4 coasters I've made using the lovely Big Bold Background Leafy Background stamp.

I had these wooden coasters sitting around in my stash for ages and I'd already painted them with Black Gesso a while back and couldn't decide what to do with them and then yesterday I just thought how great the Leafy Background would look.

I stamped using a Versamark Inkpad and covered with a gold glittery embossing powder, heat set and then coloured in one side of each leaf with a gold glittery gel pen, I then generously sprayed them with Spray and Shine, very simple and quick.
I hope you like them? Please leave a comment.

More Chocolate Baroque

Good morning Lovelies, hope you're having a great weekend!

I'm back today with 2 more projects I made with the gorgeous stamp sets that were featured on Hochanda by Lesley AKA Chocolate Baroque, I was unable to contribute to the samples shown on tv as we were away so I thought I'd do my bit to promote these stunning stamps now. I love these stamps, so versatile xx

My tag is heat embossed in black and just inked over using Distress inks, very simple - Harlequin Rose stamp set was used for both projects.

My card was Distress inks blended and spritzed with water and heat dried to create some texture, I simply stamped the Rose design with Black Versafine Inkpad.

I hope you like my projects, I've so enjoyed making them, I just adore these stamps. Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend xx Zoe xx

Romance has come early

Good afternoon Lovelies, I hope you're having a good weekend so far? The weather here is beautiful, cold but bright and sunny.

I've been busy helping my mum with her new home, she's been with us since September so I'm being very helpiful getting the place ready for her to move in! Woohoo! I'll be glad to get my space back lol, mind you I'll probably miss her, even though she does get on my nerves a bit.

Anyway I'm sharing a couple of projects I've made using the gorgeous Chocolate Baroque stamps that were featured on Hochanda, unfortunately I was away for Christmas when the samples for tv were made so was unable to contribute. Wasn't Lesley fab, her demos are great, the products and customer service is second to none too.

This stunning Rose Stem Script  stamp set is so versatile and pretty, I heat embossed using White EP and added some highlights using a wax crayon before inking with Distress inks to create a resist, simple but effective I think?

My card I used Distress inks again and a pink Archival Inkpad the add some subtle detail in the background, I then stamped the beautiful heart and sentiment from the Harlequin Rose set with Flitterglu which I'd applied to a piece of cut n dry foam and used as a stamp pad on my stamp, being sure to thoroughly clean my stamp after as the glue stays tacky, I then added my gilding flakes and scrubbed off with a scoochie sponge.

Please pop back tomorrow as I have 2 more to show, thank you for visiting, gave a wonderful day xx Zoe xx

Zoe - January Creative Challenge for Lavinia Stamps

Good afternoon Lovelies and a very Happy New Year, I hope you all had a wonderful Xmas.

We just got home this morning from spending 3 weeks in Canada with our lovely daughter and her boyfriend, we had a fab time, lots of snow and sub zero temps, but it was lovely, crisp and dry cold unlike the damp, dull weather we've returned to, ho hum, it's good to be home though.

So today I'm sharing my creations for this months Creative Challenge for Lavinia Stamps the theme for the month is "Starry Night Skies" you could win £40 to spend on Lavinia Stamp products and you don't need a blog to enter just click on the highlighted link above for all the info.

My first card I've used die cuts and coloured using distress inks and stamping with Trailing Ivy and Stars, and part of Christmas blessings sentiment, very simple card.

My second card I started by using a heavy gesso through a distressed stars stencil, once dry I inked over using distress inks, I used another star stencil with an orange ink and stamped over using the Mini Star Group, Harmony, and part of the Christmas Blessings stamps in Black Versafine ink and then using Versamark Inkpad I stamped Trailing Ivy and Forest Spruce and a few more stars and heat embossed using a glittery gold embossing powder, the Ivy is actually a glittery teal embossing powder, its a bit more subtle in the photo, it looks better in the flesh.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you like my cards and I've inspired you to join in the challenge.
Have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx
