15 minute CAS cards

Good morning Lovelies and welcome to my blog.

Today I'm sharing with you my CAS (clean and simple) cards using only Chocolate Baroque stamps.

As a member of the design team we like to give you a good variety of techniques and ideas, however we are aware that not everyone likes the more fussy intricate designs and certainly for beginners it can be rather daunting, so we are doing bi-monthly posts just featuring projects that take no more than 15 minutes.

I have used Linen textured card on all apart from the first card, I love linen card for CAS cards, it just adds that little bit of class I feel!

My first card I used a few stencils with distress inks to create a bit of colour, then used the Steampunk Butterfly and Artistic Affirmations stamps, the wings were stamped in black on linen texture card, cut out and decoupaged, the metal cogs and pen nibs were from my stash.

This card I stamped the gorgeous Dusky Damask stamp using Versamark Inkpad then gently swiped over with Magenta and Silver metallic Pan Pastels, simply stamped over with Fantastic Florals using Onyx Black Versafine

Birthday words stamped using Adirondack inkpads in different colours and the butterfly from Patchwork Butterfly just simply stamped in black on linen card, cut out and decoupaged

And finally, you couldn't get more simple than this card, it took about 5 minutes, I stamped off the edge using Swirl Centre Flowerhead and using a ruler and black fineline marker pen, drew my lines added a bobble to the ends, the sentiment is from the Birthday words (linked above)

Thank you for spending the time to visit, I hope I've inspired you, have a great day xx Zoe xx

A few little dabbles using Lindy's Stamp Gang colours.

Good morning Lovelies and Happy Saturday, the sun is shining, it's blooming cold though brrrr!

I'm sharing with you a few recent projects I've made this week using the fab products by Lindy's Stamp Gang.

My 5"x7" canvas I've used Lindys Stamp Gang flat sprays for the back ground and stamped the beautiful Poppy by Donna Downey with Lindys stamp gang Magicals, my texture paste was also mixed with magicals, sentiment is Chocolate Baroque set

Indigoblu "Colour me" flower stamp and Crealies xxl double stitched nesting die, sentiment Chocolate Baroque, also coloured using Magicals by Lindy's stamp gang.

My tag is all coloured with Lindys Stamp gang sprays (various sets) the background is a Starburst set and the flower is sprayed with a Flat set, the dies are all Penny Black, the script background is Imagination Crafts which on the tag was stamped and heat embossed using a pale yellow pearl EP by Lindys stamp gang.

Loving these colours and sprays, thank you for visiting today, have a great one whatever your doing ;) xx Zoe xx

Zoe - Challenge 22 for Chocolate Baroque

Good morning Lovelies and a warm welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing with you my sample for Chocolate Baroque - colour challenge number 22 - week 1 click on my link to find all the info you need!

I created a tag using the Tando long tags from the website, I started by brayering on Gesso, then using a wet wipe I applied chalk paints, once dry I used Orange Blossom Archival Inkpad and stamped the fab doily stamp from Steampunk Butterfly set, I lightly inked through a couple of stencils just to add a bit more depth and texture, then stamped using Onyx Black Versafine Inkpad the gorgeous Fantastic Florals and the sentiment - Positive Pants set, I added some white paint pen to highlight areas, gold gilding wax around the edges and some tulle to finish.

Here is the colour swatch to follow for the challenge, I didn't make the card on the swatch by the way it's just an example.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope I've inspired you to join in. Have a great day xx Zoe xx

Just take 15 minutes

Good Morning Lovelies.

Being part of Chocolate Baroque Design Team is wonderful, the stamps and products and not to mention the service is second to none. Part of our responsibility as the Design Team is to help stretch your imagination and the versatility of these wonderful stamps with our techniques and tips! however we sometimes forget the beginners or people who like the quick and simple techniques, so over at Chocolate Baroque DT blog we are launching today a Bi-Monthly blog featuring cards and projects that take no longer than 15 mins, mind you it took me longer than that to decide which of my lovely stamps to use hahaha ;)

So pop along to our DT blog and check out what the rest of my very talented teamies have produced for you, the link is above.

My cards I've used a Linen texture card, I just find with CAS (clean and simple) the linen gives a touch more class and elegance.

I simply used Distress crayons in a sort of stripy fashion onto my Bookmark die cut and used a water brush to blend them together a bit, I used a mask with a baby wipe over it to create a bit more texture, I dried it and stamped using Black Versafine ink the beautiful stamp from the Autumn Beauty range of stamps, added a few dots of liquid pearls and dusted with glitter, the sentiment is from Mackintosh Sentiments and I must say "it's my all time favourite sentiments set! I folded one end of the book mark over my layer and glued it then mounted my mat using 3D foam for some dimension.

My second card I used one of the gorgeous butterflies from the Butterfly Blush set which I very lightly spritzed with water then sprinkled on Brusho Pigment Powders, spritzed lightly again with water and stamped, once dried I stamped over with Black Versafine ink the Just Butterflies set that matches exactly the silhouette's, using again my lovely Bookmark die I stamped with a sentiment and glued in place and again mounting the topper on 3D foam for dimension, a smattering of irredecent sequins to finish off, viola! 2 very quick classic CAS cards.

Thank you so much for popping along I love to read what comments you leave, have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx

Imagination

Good evening Lovelies, well having had an awful headache with dizziness and nausea this afternoon due to the atmosphere and threat of a storm, I felt better this evening so thought I'd have another little play with the gorgeous Art stamps from Imagination crafts, I love them!

So I started by spraying the IC spray inks, blue, pink and yellow, once dry stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White EP, I left a border then mounted onto xxl stitched nesting die by Crealies

My third card is using green and blue IC spray inks, I used starlight paint in gold through a few stencils to get a subtle background the randomly stamped the new script stamp from IC, the other stamps are from Bee Crafty, another fabulous load of stamps lol

Thank you for visiting, xx Zoe xx

A bit of sparkle

Good evening Lovelies, well it's been a wet one today, but haven't cared!!!

I've had a lovely creative day down in Rochester with a lovely bunch of ladies, some fabbilicious cakes and baked goods from Barbara, and of course the Hostess with the mostest Eileen Godwin, the day flies by far too fast for my liking!!!

Anyhoo here's what I made with the toppers I made in the Workshop.

My first card was just me having a quick dabble with Brushos and Indigoblu stamp, in between demos.

Thank you for visiting, have a great weekend xx Zoe xx
