Good afternoon Lovelies! And a very warm welcome to my new followers.
Today I'm going to share with you a very simple resist technique I've adapted, it's probably been done before? But I've not seen it done this way! I have done very similar technique at a fab Workshop I attend every month in Rochester hosted by the lovely and very talented Eileen Godwin
I started with a mask, you need a fairly "open" design, I used a small text unmounted stamp and Archival ink and just just stamped through the mask, I dried it and cleaned the mask, then replaced it carefully and tacked it down with some masking tape so it didn't slip, I then used wax crayons and coloured in the design, I used coloured crayons but it looks good using just white too, the smaller areas of mask that I couldn't fit the crayon in I inked, I then removed the masked and inked over the whole lot with distress inks. I buffed up the wax crayon bits with a soft dry cloth to remove any ink residue, it also has a bit of a sheen to it, which doesn't really show in the photo. I hope you like my card, thank you so much for visiting, have a great day.
